A Dutch soccer team has recruited toddler Baerke van der Meij after seeing YouTube videos of the child kicking balls into a toy chest. The 18-month-old "signed" a 10-year honorary contract with his hometown club, VVV Venlo. It's a good thing the contract is merely a PR stunt. Little Baerke probably wouldn't fare well on the pro field. Nor would he be able to keep up with the hard-partying lifestyle of the average footballer. With clubs already drafting toddlers off YouTube, how much farther can they go in their search for talent?
