    I am here living in America so we only get "certain" British comedies on PBS (Public Broadcasting System). But I am always open to new British comedies, and I haven't heard of "Steptoe and Son" or "The Good Life"

    I'm from California & when I hear British People talk they have a funny accent....lol....I personally think that American English, except for our Southern Friends, sound better when speaking in English because you can understand us.....I know I don't have an accent because I'm an American duh....British singers even sing with an American Accent & alot of british people wanna be like us Americans.....So proud to be American/Californian.....
